Have you noticed a change in the consistency of the moss in your MOSSwall®️? Isn’t it as soft as freshly laid?
Don’t worry, this is a temporary condition of the stabilised moss.
WHY DOES MOSSWALL®️ DRY OUT?
Between the months of December and February due to the increased use of heating the humidity drops to below 40-45%.
MOSSwall® is a solution designed exclusively for interiors where it is possible to guarantee a relative humidity level in the environment of 40%. MOSSwall is in fact an indicator of the well-being of your room! Find out more.
If there is a change in this percentage, the plant crystallizes and can crumble to the touch.
As soon as the humidity level is re-established the moss will become soft again!
WHAT CAN BE DONE?
Place a humidifier at the base of the wall or ventilate the room before staying there to increase the humidity level.
WHAT NOT TO DO:
- Spray or wet the wall: the water will wash away the salt solution with which the MOSSwall®️ is stabilised.
- Touch it, at this stage the moss is very delicate and could be damaged.
