This project is the result of an international competition won by Studio Transit in 2006.
More than a simple building, this architectural complex represents an “urban measure”, encompassing office and service spaces that are functionally and spatially interconnected through a carefully balanced composition of interiors, gardens, and passages.

The landscape has been shifted from the horizontal to the vertical plane, introducing nine Vertical Gardens.
From the exterior, the green walls continue inside, transforming into lush architectural elements that change the color, texture, and atmosphere of the spaces.

Bathed in natural light, these elements enhance their colors and soften the linearity of the structural components—allowing nature and architecture to coexist in harmony.

At the entrance, a MOSSwall^® panel has been installed behind the reception desk, creating a natural backdrop for the Angelini Industries logo.
MOSSwall^® has also been used to clad the elevator shafts of four stairwells, each over 20 meters high.

LEED Certification

In Rome, only ten buildings have achieved LEED^® Platinum certification, and one of them is the new Angelini Industries headquarters.
Platinum is the highest level of certification.

The green walls contribute directly to the building’s LEED^® score, supporting energy efficiency and environmental quality.

The L22 Engineering & Sustainability project enabled:

35% energy savings, equivalent to taking 300–400 cars off the road for a year

69.8% reduction in potable water consumption, corresponding to approximately 43,000 showers saved
